What's going on here???

So it's officially been 1.5 months since I've started this new journey. Sometimes, I can't believe it and I'm super grateful for the opportunity to explore and expand. Other times, I get a little overwhelmed or a little frustrated with the slow build that comes with creating something special. But, what new venture doesn't come with a drop of "what if?" A dash of "why not?" A hint of "don't eff this up."

So here's our progress so far...

We've got a few projects in the works. We're running a fundraiser. Currently, we've raised $234.42. We've gotten 119 followers on instagram and are currently running on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. We've applied for a few grants and have started developing relationships with bookstores around New York. When I think about our progress so far, I'm excited. I can't believe the traction we've already made. Everyday, I remember that this is a marathon. Not a sprint. So the road will be long. I will have lots to do and lots to learn. The journey will be challenging and rewarding. I am enjoying every bit of this journey.
